Dr. Faraz Khan completed his basic medical training in 1997 from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He is triple US board-certified in Internal Medicine (2002), Medical Oncology (2005), and Hematology (2005).
Before joining the American Hospital in 2005, Dr. Khan worked as a Consultant Medical Oncologist/Hematologist at PEI Cancer Treatment Center, Charlottetown, PEI, Canada, where he also served as a primary investigator for the clinical trials in Hematologic diseases.
He was a member of the Association of Hemophilia Clinic Directors of Canada and directed the PEI Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorder Clinic.
