Dr. Omar Ismail
Dr. Omar Ismail is an Associate Hematology Consultant at the National Centre for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR), Hamad Medical Corporation.
Dr. Omar earned his medical degree from Misr University for Science and Technology, Egypt, and completed his residency training in Internal medicine at HMC. He was certified by the Arab Board of Medical Specializations in internal medicine. He then completed his Haematology /BMT Fellowship program in NCCC/HMC.
Dr. Omar is involved in education and the Haematology Fellowship Training Program as assistant Program Director, core faculty member, and Clinical Competency and Program Evaluation Committee member. He was also involved in many research studies and quality projects to improve patient care in HMC.
