
Dr. Shereen Elazzazy
Dr. Shereen Elazzazy is an Asst. Director of Pharmacy & Head of Clinical Services in the National Center for Cancer Care & Research (NCCCR), Qatar. She is a WHO consultant (Cancer expert). She received her BSc Pharm from Egypt in 1997, Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Purdue University, USA, in 2011, PhD in Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy Practice from Kingston University, UK in 2023, Master of Business Administration (MBA) Spain 2021, and a Diploma of Specialization in Coaching and NLP from Spain in 2021. She completed several certifications from Harvard University, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), the University of Southern Indiana, the University of Georgia, ACCP, ASPEN, INSEAD France, BMJ Research, University of California San Francisco (UCSF), Purdue University and others.
Since 2011, Dr. Shereen has been an Adjunct Clinical Faculty in the College of Pharmacy at Qatar University. Furthermore, she is a Clinical Sponsor of the PharmD program at the University of Colorado, USA, an Instructor for BMJ clinical trials, and a local mentor for Pharmacy Schools and Queen’s University, UK. She has more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and 100 abstracts presented at national, regional, and international events. She is also an editor/editorial board member in 13 peer-reviewed journals and a peer reviewer in 8 international journals.
Dr. Shereen has extensive experience in hospital/ clinical/ industrial pharmacy, healthcare quality, clinical trials & clinical research, academic teaching, education & mentorship, healthcare quality, business development & business management, leadership & management, strategic planning, and Joint Commission accreditation and certification. Her areas of expertise are mainly oncology, parenteral nutrition, palliative care, hematology, precision medicine, VTE, clinical trials, publication & editing, business management, and pharmacy practice. She received many awards and recognition on national and international levels.
