Giuseppe Saglio, MD

Giuseppe Saglio is an Emeritus Professor of Haematology and Internal Medicine at the University of Turin. Professor Saglio has been the coordinator of the PhD program in Medicine and Experimental Therapy at the University of Turin and Director of the Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences of the same University.
He has published more than 600 peer-reviewed articles on the molecular pathogenesis of hematological diseases, molecularly targeted therapy, and molecular characterization of hematological malignancies. In 2017, Prof Saglio was nominated Knight of the Italian Republic for his scientific merits and long-term service to the Italian University.
