Dr. Deena Mudawi
Dr. Deena Mudawi is a Consultant Hygienist/BMT at the National Centre for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR), Hamad Medical Corporation.
Dr. Deena earned her medical degree from the University of Gezira, Sudan, and she completed her residency training in Internal medicine at HMC; she has been certified by the Arab Board of Medical Specializations in Internal Medicine and Membership Of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP-UK ). She then completed her Haematology /BMT Fellowship program in NCCCR/HMC. She completed the European Hematology Association exam.
She was certified by Harvard Medical School to complete a one-year program in Cancer Biology and Therapeutics. In addition, she earned multiple certificates in cancer genomics and precision oncology.
Dr. Deena is involved in research studies and quality projects to improve patient care. She is also involved in education and the Haematology Fellowship Training Program as a core Clinical Competency and Program Evaluation Committee faculty member.
