Dr. Ehab Massad
Dr. Ehab Massad, a distinguished senior consultant in thoracic surgery at HMC, completed his medical education at Jordan University in 1992, paving the way for a remarkable career in surgery.
His journey includes a residency in general surgery at Jordan University Hospital, obtaining the Jordanian Board in General Surgery in 1998. Dr. Massad's dedication to surgical excellence led him to significant roles at Jordan University Hospital and Tawam Hospital, where he worked until 2007. Embarking on a path of specialization, he pursued fellowships in thoracic surgery and lung transplant at the University of Toronto and Toronto General Hospital.
Returning to Jordan University in 2010 as an Assistant Professor and consultant thoracic surgeon, he contributed to medical education. Dr. Massad's impactful career continued at the King Hussein Cancer Centre from January 2012 to June 2017, where he served as a Senior Consultant Thoracic Surgeon, Director of the Physician Education Office, and Head of the Thoracic Malignancy Multidisciplinary Tumor Board.
Relocating to Qatar in 2017, he joined the Heart Hospital at Hamad Medical Corporation as a Senior Consultant Thoracic Surgeon, bringing a wealth of expertise to contribute to advancing thoracic surgery and medical education.
