Dr. Maryam Ali Al-Nesf Al-Mansouri
Dr. Maryam Ali Al-Nesf Al-Mansouri, MD, ABHS, MScR, holds positions as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine-QU and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar. She has been leading the Allergy and Immunology Division at HMC since 2016 and serving as Program Director for the combined Allergy and Immunology Fellowship training program since 2014. Dr. Al-Nesf obtained her MD degree from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, and holds the Arab Board of Medical Specialization in Internal Medicine. She pursued fellowships in Pulmonary Medicine and Allergy and Clinical Immunology in Qatar-HMC & Cambridge, UK. Additionally, she completed a master's degree in research at the University of Bristol/UK and is currently a research fellow and Ph.D. candidate in Molecular Medicine at University College London.
Dr. Al-Nesf's extensive research endeavors have been supported by grants from Qatar Foundations (QNRF) and HMC-IRGC cycles. She is actively involved in mentoring students and fellows, publishing in prestigious journals, and leading research projects focusing on personalized medicine approaches in allergy, immunology, and lung diseases. Her clinical interests lie in primary immunodeficiency, airways diseases, systemic inflammatory diseases, and generalized allergic disorders, with a focus on personalized management. Dr. Al-Nesf also plays a pivotal role in establishing Qatar's pollen & fungal calendar and atlas.
