Dr Shakeel Ahmed is a consultant pulmonologist and physician at Al Wakra Hospital Hamad Medical Corporation.
Dr. Shakeel received his medical degree from Karachi Medical and Dental College, Pakistan. He pursued his Medicine residency at Aga Kham University Hospital Karachi and was awarded the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) Fellowship.
In 2011, Dr. Shakeel joined Hamad Medical Corporation, where he completed his fellowship in Pulmonology.
He was awarded the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP-UK) membership in 2018 and awarded the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (HERMES) in 2022.
He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in academics and research.
