Dr. Muna Al Maslamani

​Dr. Muna Al Maslamani, Medical Director of the Communicable Disease Center at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, is a distinguished Senior Consultant in Transplant Infectious Diseases and Assistant Head of the Infectious Diseases Division. 

With an impressive educational background, including an MSc in Healthcare Management (RCSI-Bahrain) and an IHI Fellowship (Institute of Healthcare Improvement & Hamad Medical Corporation), Dr. Muna is a Fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America. 

​Her extensive clinical experience is complemented by administrative and academic roles, such as Vice Chairperson for Quality and Patient safety–medicine, Fellowship Program Director for Infectious Disease, and Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar and Qatar University.

Beyond her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Muna is a dedicated role model committed to enhancing the quality of patient care. As a Fellow appointed by Planetree International and Person-Centered Care Executive Champion, she has sponsored 55 Quality Improvement Projects through the Clinical Care Improvement Training Program. 

Her involvement in the IHI Best Care Always Campaign and successful collaboration in numerous research projects, with 67 publications, showcase her commitment to advancing healthcare. 

Dr. Muna's leadership and service have earned her several prestigious awards, and she is a recognized speaker and moderator at Infectious Diseases Conferences.
