Dr. AlMarri is a distinguished medical professional with a diverse background in healthcare. Graduating from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1989, he pursued postgraduate training in internal medicine, pulmonary-sleep medicine, and critical care in the USA, earning American Board certifications in Internal Medicine (1993), Pulmonary Medicine (1996), and Sleep Medicine (1999). His extensive qualifications include fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland and Canada.
With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. AlMarri has made significant contributions to acute medicine, critical care, and pulmonary and sleep medicine. He has been actively involved in clinical research at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), resulting in the publication of 23 papers in esteemed journals and the forthcoming release of four books.
In 2012, Dr. AlMarri obtained a Master of Science in Healthcare Management, complementing his administrative roles (Chairman of medical and subspecialties from 1997-2007, and QAFM unit commander from 2017 till 2018) aimed at enhancing patient care quality.
