Dr. Mona Allangawi
Dr. Mona Allangawi is a distinguished Senior Consultant Adult Pulmonologist, holding the position of Fellowship Program Director in the Pulmonary Division and serving as the vice-head of the Pulmonary, Sleep Disorders, and Thoracic Surgery Division at Hamad General Hospital-HMC.
Additionally, she is the Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program in Qatar. Dr. Langawi is also an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine College/Qatar.
Graduating with a medical degree from the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain, Dr. Allangawi's educational journey continued with internship, residency, and fellowship training at HMC.
She is certified by the Arab Board of Medical Specialization and has broadened her clinical expertise through clinical attachment programs abroad, including in the UK and Canada.
In 2006, Dr. Langawi made a significant contribution to healthcare by founding the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program in Qatar.
