Ali Al-Haj
Ali Al-Haj serves as the Chair of the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) at Al Wakra Hospital, part of Hamad Medical Corporation, bringing over 21 years of professional experience to his role. He has played a vital role in promoting patient and family-centered care, enhancing collaboration between healthcare teams and families, and ensuring that patient voices influence care delivery and hospital policies.
In October 2023, he volunteered to teach American Sign Language to more than 240 nurses and staff from health centers throughout Qatar at Thumama Health Center, demonstrating his commitment to inclusive communication. He has received numerous certificates of appreciation for his dedication to patient-centered care (PCC), including recognition for his involvement in the Collaborative on Patient-Centered Communication and for his significant contribution to the Quality Improvement project "Enhance Patients' Adherence to PHCC Medication Labels," which was awarded Best Quality Improvement Project at PHCC's 2023 celebration.
Ali also possesses extensive experience in national events, having served as the Lead of Volunteers during the FIFA World Cup Qatar, contributed to the Amir Cup and Arab Cup, and is currently working as a Cultural Advisor for prominent event management companies in Qatar.
