
Khadija Khalid Mohammed
Khadija Khalid Mohammed serves as the Assistant Executive Director for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) within Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Calgary–Qatar and began her career as a perioperative nurse, becoming the youngest Qatari head nurse at HMC in 2014.
In 2016, she earned a master's degree in quality and safety in healthcare management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Following this, she established the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Department at ACC, successfully leading the facility to achieve its first Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation in 2019.
Guided by her vision of “designing care through the patient's eyes," Khadija became a Person-Centered Care Specialist in 2018 and was honored as a Fellow in Person-Centered Care in 2021. Under her leadership, ACC fostered a robust culture of person-centered care, becoming the first facility in the MENA region to achieve Planetree Gold Certification with Distinction for Leadership and Innovation, making it one of only five facilities worldwide to receive this prestigious recognition.
