
Remya Jose
Remya Jose is a clinical nurse specialist in pediatric rehabilitation at the Qatar Rehabilitation Institute, Hamad Medical Corporation. She has over 17 years of diverse nursing experience that includes pediatrics, medical-surgical, and psychiatric care. Remya earned her MSc in Pediatric Nursing and is currently pursuing her PhD at DY Patil University in Mumbai, focusing on “Exploring the Unmet Needs of Families of Children with Cerebral Palsy."
She has authored and presented research on various topics, including childhood obesity, pediatric emergencies, and the stress and quality of life of rehabilitation nurses. Additionally, she is engaged in ongoing studies related to resilience, workplace wellness, and family-centered rehabilitation. Remya has shared her work at both national and international conferences, including the Qatar International Rehabilitation Conference.
In her current position, she contributes to scientific planning committees, develops clinical guidelines, and leads pediatric rehabilitation programs. With a strong passion for person-centered care, Remya combines her clinical expertise, leadership, and research skills to enhance outcomes for children and families.
