Profile 
General surgeon with experience in general surgery, abdominal trauma, Trauma Systems and surgery in disaster settings, delivering safe, evidence-based care in high-pressure, armed conflict and limited resources environments. Demonstrated leadership in surgical systems strengthening, team coordination, and quality improvement. Committed to patient-oriented care, capacity building, and adherence to international humanitarian law and surgical standards. 

Experience 
• Provision of operative and peri-operative care in General Surgery as part of trauma response. Manage high-acuity trauma, emergency laparotomy, damage control, surgical ICU care and postoperative complications. Liver and kidney transplantation. 
• Experience with mass-casualty response and multidisciplinary surgical collaboration in disaster and armed conflict settings. 
• Member of Panhellenic Medical Association, member of GMC.
Humanitarian & Conflict-Zone Experience 
• Surgical deployments with WHO and NGOs, contributing to field mobile clinic surgical facilities, war-surgery case management, earthquake immediate response, field hospitals preparedness and readiness, and trauma system governance. 
• Led clinical protocols, staff training, and safe-surgery initiatives. 
• Experience in leading field operations for surgical and medical teams in limited resource settings requiring civil-military coordination. 

Education & Training 
• General Surgery Board certification. 
• MSc in Health Crisis Management. 
• Certified in PHTLS, ATLS, DSTC
