Dr. Husham Abdelrahman

Dr. Husham Abdelrahman, MD, FRCSI, CABS, is the Director of the Trauma Resuscitation Unit at Hamad General Hospital and a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar. He is a graduate of the Mansoura Medical Faculty, Mansoura University, Egypt. Dr. Abdelrahman completed his Internship at Mansoura University Hospital, Mansoura, Egypt and both his Residency in General Surgery and a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Hamad General Hospital.
Dr. Abdelrahman obtained his Master’s Degree in Medical Education and a joint Master of Professional Health Education with Suez Canal and Maastricht Universities in Egypt. Dr. Abdelrahman specializes in trauma, general surgery and surgical critical care. He has a special interest in medical education, quality and disaster medicine and he is a recognized course director/instructor for many international courses, including ATLS, ITLS, ATOM, FCC, FDM, MIMMS, ADAMS, EDAMS and EBA.
