Dr. Walid Othman AbouGalala currently holds the posts of Consultant, Emergency Preparedness and Coordinator of the National Health Committee for Disaster Management, Supreme Council of Health, Qatar. He is also a Medical Technical Consultant and Coordinator with the Supreme Council of Health, Qatar and a member of the Major Emergency (Disaster) Preparedness Committee at Hamad Medical Corporation. He is also a A/Consultant, Emergency Medicine, Emergency Department at Hamad General Hospital.

Dr. AbouGalala is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine from the Jordan Medical Council. He holds a Master Degree in Disaster Medicine from Novara University, Italy and a Master in Medical Education from Maastricht University, Netherland.
