Dr. Sameer Abdussattar Pathan
Director of Emergency Medicine Research, Hamad General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation
Dr. Sameer Abdussattar Pathan is the Director of Emergency Medicine Research at Hamad General Hospital’s Emergency Department. He is Chair of the Abstract Review Subcommittee of ICEP-Q 2016, and is one of the key organizing members of the ICEP-Q 2016.
Dr. Pathan completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Hamad Medical Corporation, under the Arab Board Council. He also holds the post of Faculty for the Residency Program at Hamad Medical Corporation. His PhD work is based on the HMC-Monash University, Australia collaboration. His major research interests are renal colic, pain management, ultrasound, pre-hospital care and developing prediction rules. Dr. Pathan is also a member of the American and UK College of Emergency Medicine.
