Dr. Gouda Abdulla Ramadan Gouda
Dr. Gouda is an experienced technical consultant in food safety, food contaminants and environmental health analytical method development, preparing laboratories for international accreditation.
He is currently the Technical and Accreditation Manager of Central Food Laboratories of the Ministry of Public Health, Qatar.
He completed his PhD from Cairo University in 2002 with a Food Chemistry and contaminants specialization in Mass Spectometry.
He has held progressively increasing positions in the public and private sector for food quality control and assurance laboratories over the last 18 years. He has also developed highly sensitive analytical methods for enforcement of national and international regulations regarding the proper use of pesticide residues, mycotoxins, veterinary drugs, heavy metals, food additives and other chemical contaminants in food commodities.
He has supervised a government food laboratory in Qatar to achieve ISO 17025 accreditation and international accreditation, which is first food lab in the country to achieve this status, among others.
He also has interest in research focused on the development of sensitive analytical methods for screening and quantification of pesticide residues et. al.
