Rohan Sawhney

Rohan Sawhney is a healthcare and public sector focused partner in Deloitte’s Middle Eastern Consulting Business. He is a healthcare economist by background with an MPhil in Economics from Cambridge University and a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick (First Class Honors). Rohan has advised multiple regulators, providers and commissioners of healthcare services in the region and globally, including on public health reform, making the case for primary care and preventive expenditure, healthcare costing, pricing and innovative funding models, along with leading engagements around digital health policies and strategies, operational improvement and financial turnaround. Rohan has been based in Qatar since 2018, prior to which he was part of Deloitte’s health economics team in London. Rohan is the lead engagement partner on Deloitte’s 4 year engagement to support MOPH in implementation of its Public Health Strategy 2017-22; in this role, Rohan has worked very closely with Qatar’s Director of Public health, key health and non-health sector leaders and international strategic alliance partners (including Imperial College, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Public Health England) to support successful delivery of programs across priority health areas and strategic initiatives relating to the foundations of public health, across communications, data and informatics, and leadership, regulation and governance.
