
Ahmed Mohamed Younes Mohamed
Ahmed Mohamed Younes Mohamed is a clinical nurse specialist at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, with extensive expertise in mental health nursing and person-centered care. He holds a diploma in geriatric nursing, a master's in community mental health, and is completing his PhD dissertation.
Ahmed's clinical and academic focus includes managing challenging behaviors, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented care. He has designed and led nursing training programs in disaster management, psychotropic medication safety, and transition-to-practice initiatives. He has also presented widely at national and regional forums on evidence-based mental health practices.
As part of the national research project “Exploring the Interplay of Pharmaco-genomics, Metabolomics, and Microbiomics: A Novel Precision Medicine Approach for SSRIs in Patients with Depression in Qatar," Ahmed contributes as both a team member and supervisor. He currently leads initiatives on Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and Behavioral Activation (BA), aiming to strengthen patient safety, recovery outcomes, and family engagement.
