Aswathy Santhasivan
Aswathy Santhasivan holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and began her nursing career in 2011 at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She initially worked at Al Maha Rehabilitation Hospital, focusing on pediatric patients who required long-term care. This experience provided her with valuable insights into congenital conditions and emphasized the importance of individualized, family-centered care. For three years, she represented the Al Maha Facility as a CHNN representative, showcasing her leadership skills and dedication to professional development.
Since 2019, Aswathy has taken on the role of charge nurse, which has expanded her responsibilities in managing both staff and patient care. In 2022, she played a significant role in the transfer of patients to the new Al Maha Center in Al Wakra. Currently, she serves as the Unit Quality Link Nurse, where she drives quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing excellence in patient care.
