Dr. Mohammad Qusad
Dr. Mohammad Qusad, MD, ABMS, is a consultant pediatrician at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Qatar, boasting over 15 years of experience in pediatric emergency medicine. He obtained his MD from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timisoara, Romania, and completed his residency at HMC. He later achieved certification from the Arab Board of Medical Specialization in Pediatrics in 2013.
Dr. Qusad is the Head of the Pediatric Day Care Unit and Site Director for the General Pediatric Fellowship Program at HMC. A general pediatric consultant, he provides care for both inpatients and outpatients. He completed an Academic Pediatric Emergency Fellowship with advanced toxicology training at SickKids Hospital, Toronto, in 2011.
An accomplished educator, he mentors trainees from Qatar University and Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar and teaches pediatric life support courses. Internationally recognized, Dr. Qusad has led impactful quality projects, published in leading journals, and presented at major pediatric conferences.
