Asmaa Al- Atey
Asmaa Al-Atey is the Assistant Executive Director of Nursing for Emergency, Trauma, and Critical Care Services at Hamad General Hospital. She holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Qatar University. Beginning her career as a staff nurse in general surgery, she advanced through progressive leadership roles to her current position in 2024.
A recognized nursing leader, Asmaa champions education, research, and quality care. She chairs HMC's Emergency Nursing Networks, represents the organization at major conferences, and was instrumental in guiding the Hamad Trauma Center to Canadian accreditation and establishing trauma services at HGH.
