Dr. Khawla Ahmad
Dr. Khawla Ahmad is a health systems improvement expert with extensive experience leading programs in Infection Control, Risk Management, and Hospital Quality. She has designed strategic plans, established quality structures, and prepared healthcare organizations for accreditation. Having developed and led academic programs—including the master's in public health, Health Systems Improvement stream at Qatar University—she now serves as Acting Assistant Executive Director at the Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, driving capacity building and nationwide initiatives to deliver effective, efficient, and safe healthcare solutions across Qatar.
