Abdulrahman Arabi is a Senior Consultant of Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He is the Deputy Chief of General Cardiology, The Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Fellowship Program Director of Cardiovascular Medicine, Qatar Heart Hospital at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Doha, Qatar. He holds the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell College of Medicine.
Upon completion of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at St. John Hospital in Detroit Michigan in 2006, Dr. Arabi joined Henry Ford Hospital where he became the Director of Primary PCI program in 2008, then Joined HMC in 2010.
Dr. Arabi has a special interest in Acute Coronary Syndrome, Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest and Quality Improvement in Cardiology. He has multiple awards for his work in bleeding avoidance strategies, contrast induced nephropathy reduction strategies and improvement of access to care for elective and emergency PCI.
