Dr. Reham
Dr. Reham is acting AED for Quality, Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute. She has an MPH and currently faculty in the QU Health Systems Improvement MPH concentration and supervising masters students practicum projects.
She is a clinical hematologist by training and practice who has joined HMC 15 years ago as a front line physician and taken over the responsibilities as a chief resident of NCCCR starting her first project in developing an internal rotating residents’ orientation program.
Acting as the Medical Quality lead in NCCCR, she actively contributed in the continuous readiness for the JCI accreditation since 2006 and led several local improvement projects.
In 2011 she was certified as professional health care quality, CPHQ by NAHQ and in 2012 she was certified as Six Sigma Green Belt. She is also certified as a level 1 clinical microsystems Coach by The Dartmouth Institute Microsystem Academy in 2013.
She is currently heading the HHQI education and Training agenda and the Program Director, core faculty and coach in several training programs of HMC/HHQI on Quality and Patient safety among which the CCITP, Improvement advisor and Mentoring programs
She is a coach and facilitator in the Comskil Training- HMC communication training course. Her previous works and contributions: Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare organizing committee member, poster judge and speaker (2014 to 2016) and Corporate/NCCCR Job Planning champion.
She is an HMC/IHI fellow and candidate IHI improvement Advisor.
