Ibrahim Yusuf Abubeker MD. CABHS.
Dr Ibrahim is currently a Clinical Fellow in General Internal Medicine Program at Hamad Medical Corporation.
Dr Ibrahim holds a Medical Degree from Marmara University School of Medicine, Turkey. He completed an ACGME-I Accredited residency training program in Internal Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He also holds a Board Certification from the Arab Board of Health Specialization certificate in Internal Medicine.
Ibrahim has taken a rather expansive path to his Medical career. He has led various projects in collaboration with various non-governmental organizations to improve the healthcare of underserved communities during his service job after his graduation. He has participated and led various committees in the advancement of Medical education and service. He has been involved in clinical teaching at Qatar University Medical School and Weill Cornel Medical School-Qatar. Dr. Ibrahim is also active in research and has published several articles in journals and presented posters in international conference. Dr Ibrahim was Assistant chief resident and Chief resident at Hamad medical corporation before joining fellowship program. Throughout his career, Ibrahim has been recognized for his leadership, volunteer activities, advancement of Medical practice and superior academic achievement which include the University Superior Scholastic Achievement Award, received multiple times the best senior resident award to name a few. In addition, Dr. Ibrahim received several Certificate of Appreciations for his valuable contribution during his residency training and Chief resident year. Dr Ibrahim work as clinical instructor and organizer for internal medicine board review course.
Dr. Ibrahim is a Member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, the American College of Physicians and European society of cardiology.
