Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Chairman of the Guidelines Committee of Internal Medicine of Hamad General Hospital. Member of HGH and the HMC Corporate Guidelines Committees. Graduated from Benghazi University in 1994 and completed Arab Board training program then 3 years of training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology before joining HMC in 2004. Experience in educating students and residents. Received several awards of “Best Teacher” from Internal Medicine HMC as well as from Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar. Examiner for the Arab board, Qatari Board, Qatari Board and MRCP-PACES UK. Host Examiner for PACES Exam (RCP, UK). Has several publications in peer-reviewed journals.
