Ms. Athira graduated in 2015 from the University College of Medical Education, MG University, India, marking the beginning of her dedicated journey in the field of nursing. Over the past decade, she has gained extensive clinical experience and demonstrated a consistent commitment to patient care and professional excellence.
With a total of 10 years of nursing experience, Ms. Athira has spent the last six years serving in the Trauma Resuscitation Unit (TRU) at Hamad General Hospital (HGH). Her work in this high-acuity environment has honed her critical care skills and deepened her expertise in nursing trauma, enabling her to provide exceptional care for patients in emergency and trauma situations.
She holds several professional certifications, including Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS), and Advanced Life Support (ALS). In her current capacity as a Link Educator in TRU and PCC Driver 3 Champion, Ms. Athira plays an active role in educational initiatives, supporting her colleagues through training programs and contributing to Person-Centered Care (PCC) activities. She has also showcased her creativity and teamwork by participating in poster-making competitions within the organization.
Further reflecting her dedication to ongoing learning, Ms. Athira participated in the Qatar Health 2022 Preconference Workshop, where she expanded her knowledge and shared best practices in clinical education.
