Dr. Noora Al Kaabi
Dr. Noora Al Kaabi is a Senior Consultant and the Head of the Preventive Medicine Division under the Department of Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She holds a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed her clinical internship at HMC. She later undertook residency training in Community and Preventive Medicine at HMC and obtained Arab Board Certification in Community Medicine.
Dr. Al Kaabi currently serves as the Director of Clinical Research at Hamad General Hospital (HGH) and has chaired the HGH Research Advisory Group since 2020. She also holds multiple leadership roles, including Hospital Research Officer, Senior Medical Manager, and Administration Supervisor at the HGH Medical Director’s Office. In addition, she is the Associate Program Director of the Community Medicine Residency Program at HMC and the Lead Consultant for the Geriatric Wellness Clinic at Rumailah Hospital. She further contributes as the Clinical Coordinator for the HGH Medical Ethics Committee.
At the national level, Dr. Al Kaabi is the HMC focal point for collaboration with Public Health England and leads the Public Health Accreditation Board initiative for Professional Services at HMC. She represents HMC in several national committees and taskforces under the Ministry of Public Health, including health protection, workplace wellness, occupational health improvement, healthy ageing, and end-of-life care initiatives.
Dr. Al Kaabi has played a significant role in strengthening research governance and building clinical research capacity at HMC. She actively mentor residents and junior physicians, contributes to research advisory and review committees, and publishes scholarly work in public health and health systems. As an educator, she is committed to developing Qatar’s public health and clinical research workforce through teaching and mentorship
