Tarik Sami Abulkhair
Tarik Sami Abulkhair is a highly accomplished healthcare professional with extensive expertise in trauma clinical care, trauma registry management, patient safety, and quality improvement. With over a decade of experience at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar, Tarik has held key roles, including Nurse, Charge Nurse, Nursing Educator, Trauma Registrar, and Quality & Patient Safety Coordinator, where he spearheaded numerous quality enhancement projects. He holds certifications from the American Board in Patient Safety (CPPS), the American Board in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and the American Board for Trauma Registry (CSTR).
He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2008. As a holder of a master's degree in public health and health Promotion from Warwick University in the UK, Tarik has been instrumental in preparing trauma department for designation by Accreditation Canada International. He has authored and coauthored few publications focused on optimizing trauma care, enhancing healthcare efficiency, promoting injury prevention, and quality improvement.
Tarik is an experienced presenter and educator, serving as an ATCN instructor since 2018. He remains an active member of the American Trauma Society and the Society of Trauma Nurses, continually advocating for excellence in trauma systems and care delivery.
