Dr Ashok Parchani,
MD, FICM, DIPOLMA IN PAIN MANAGEMENT
Dr. Ashok Parchani is a Senior Consultant and Associate Director of the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Doha, Qatar. With nearly 30 years of experience as an intensivist, Dr. Parchani also holds academic appointments as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Qatar University’s College of Medicine and as an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar.
A graduate of Delhi University, Dr. Parchani holds a Fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine (FICM), a Diploma in Pain Management from the University of Montpellier, France, and a certification in Antibiotic Stewardship from Stanford University. USA .He is deeply committed to medical education, frequently mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
His clinical and research interests include infection control in the ICU and organ donation; notably, he is an active contributor to HMC’s organ donation program. Dr. Parchani’s contributions to medicine have been recognized with several "Stars of Excellence" awards from HMC, and he has authored numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals.
