Ms. Asmaa Al-Atey is a distinguished healthcare professional currently serving as the Assistant Executive Director of Nursing for Emergency, Trauma and Critical Care Services at Hamad General Hospital. She holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, which has honed her advanced leadership and management skills. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Qatar University.
Her nursing journey began as a Staff Nurse in the general surgery department, where she demonstrated exceptional clinical skills and a deep commitment to patient care. Through dedication and continuous professional development, she advanced through various roles, showcasing her expertise and leadership capabilities. In 2024, her hard work and perseverance were recognized with her promotion to Assistant Executive Director of Nursing.
Ms. Al-Atey is a dedicated leader in nursing practice, known for advancing education and research while representing Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) at prestigious conferences as Chairperson, organizer, and presenter. She serves at Hamad General Hospital and leads as Chairperson of HMC's Emergency Nursing Networks. An active member of multiple nursing networks, she successfully guided Hamad Trauma Center to Canadian accreditation and pioneered the establishment of trauma services at HGH.
